Mr. David Atkinson

Born in the UK, CEO of Konishi Decorative Arts and Crafts Co, a company that repairs important cultural properties in Japan for more than 300 years. His book “New Edition -Building a Nation with Tourism Theory” won the 24th Yamamoto Shichihei Award. He takes part as an expert in the national and regional tourism policy and continues to spread his policies based on data analyzing from his experience of a financial analyst.

On October 1st and 2nd, 2020, we welcomed Mr. David Atkinson to Kada, Wakayama as a part of the “Creation of New Travel Styles and Diversification Program” of the Japan Tourism Agency.
